Kurgen (Kурга́н) is a Coalition corvette in Starlancer.
Description
The Kurgen class of ship is used primarily for convoy defense and carrier protection. The Kurgen is fast and hard-hitting with both laser and missile capability. It has a specially developed forward prow section, which can be used very effectively to ram large vessels and inflict hull damage on smaller ships. Aggressive and highly motivated, the Coalition crews that man the Kurgen class are the scourge of the Alliance Fleet.
Encounters
- Kurgens are encountered almost every other mission, acting as souped-up fighters and major threats to bombers. Their laser turrets give it coverage in almost every direction, except right behind its exhaust ports.
