Jake Singleton (Ego) is a character in Starlancer.
Background[ | ]
A great fighter pilot who would already be a squadron leader if he could keep his thoughts to himself. One of the few combat veterans in the 45th with 18 confirmed kills. In the Lunar Conflict he ignored orders from his wing leader, and was grounded. Court martial charges were dropped when the war broke out. Overtly outspoken, often about his superiors.

Honors from the Academy, but spent six months in the stockade awaiting court martial. 18 kills in naval service. Qualified on most fighter craft.
