The Galahad is a fast and agile torpedo bomber, and due to its smaller payload it is generally deployed against small to midsize enemy shipping and strategic targets. Its high maneuverability and speed allow this bomber to get in close before launching, making it an accurate and deadly weapon delivery system. Although well armored and shielded, its lighter structure makes it susceptible to enemy missiles and heavy turret fire. It is very rarely deployed without fighter escort.

- Galahad is used by 45th's Gamma wing in a number of missions, in lieu of the Hades, typically when the mission calls for speed and maneuverability rather than sheer firepower.
