The Eastern Coalition fleet typically follows rugged, reliable designs manufactured primarily by the Eastern Republic and its colonies. The Coalition frequently makes use of ship designs that date back decades, extensively refitted and upgraded to match the Alliance's more up to date designs. Standardization is also widespread and far more common than in the Alliance.
Following the Deimos Betrayal at the beginning of The Sol War, this industrial output coupled with Alliance losses resulted in a temporary numeric superiority between 3 and 2 to 1 in the Coalition's favor.
Capital ships[ | ]
- Coalition capital ships are typically priority targets and are equipped with numerous subsystems that require destruction before they're finally taken out by Alliance torpedo bombers or own capital ship salvos.
