109th Maulers is a

Background
The 109th is a fighter squadron with a rich history. Organized at the outset of the Europa Conflict, the Maulers have been protecting various Alliance positions for over 10 years. Their early record was not one to be proud of, but in this war they have performed well. Their kill ratio is a respectable 1-1. Since the beginning of the conflict, the Maulers have been based at Fort Carter, and have fought off three direct assaults on the base, garnering a healthy respect from both the Alliance and Coalition fleets.
